MSR raises $425,000 at 12 Annual Golf for Youth Event!

Golf enthusiasts, business elite, and community leaders rallied together at the 12th Annual Golf For Youth event on October 27 raising more than $425,000 for abused and neglected children. Held at the Palos Verdes Golf Club, the event has generated nearly $3.5 million over the last twelve years to sup- port the programs of Mustard Seed Ranch (MSR), a charitable nonprofit organization that provides equine assisted life-experience programs to help youths break the cycle of abuse, and reestablish healthy relationships and trust in their lives.

The Palos Verdes Golf Club, surrounded by a strong equestrian community, was a logical choice to host the event this year and possibly in years to come,” says event chair Lenny Fodemski. Fodemski noted the generosity and support of the equestrian community when MSR was recently chosen as one of twelve charities to be showcased at the Charity Pro-AM, a unique philanthropic competition held at the Longines Los Angeles Masters.
